Thirteen years ago, Barbara and I formed our friendship, through our daughters, at a stable in Texas. Nathalie grew up riding in Florida. It seemed fitting that we spent our last night in France at the Versailles stable, built by Louis XIV. Afterwards, we met Michelle for dinner at a small, lovely, dark restaurant in Versailles and Razban joined us for dessert. If we had to have a last night in Paris, it was a perfect way to spend it - with dear family and friends, in the heart of the happy part of Marie Antoinette's France.
