Barbara and Me

Michelle took this.  Those are real smiles.  Less impressively, that's a  real Target bag in my hand.  I even heard a woman point it out to her friend as I passed them on the curving staircase in the Petit Trianon.  And, I   had tried so hard to look French, taking almost exclusively black clothes!   Why I lugged that bright red bag around that day, I don't know.  Must've been carrying something I really needed.
