Kathy was the first of Jim's girlfriends that I ever met and I cried when they broke up. She was nice to me and I was a tad attention-starved, or as I've learned 
, I have an insatiable need for attention from loved ones. The picture was taken at Don and Bran's wedding at our house in King's Grant, in the late 60's. Mary looks like the afternoon has gotten a little long for her. Or maybe she's sad because either or both our cat and dog died that day. My memory is a little foggy. Looking at this picture makes me wish I'd been a better big sister to this little girl. A lot better.
