David and his friend, Philip, went on a California road trip, stopping first in Marfa, Texas, then to LA, Santa Barbara, Santa Cruz, San Francisco, Yosemite, the Las Vegas, the Grand Canyon and, finally, through Lubbock to spend a night with Terry's parents. This is a shot of Santa Barbara campfire with Philip and Dana the Man's children, Kai and Chacha. (Chacha is a championship surfer :)) Dana is an old friend of our's with whom David has become really good friends and whom he has visited several times before.
