Judie Lynn

One of the best parts of my trip was eating dinner with three old friends whom I'd not seen in over thirty-five years.  The way years evaporate when one meets an old friend sometimes takes my breath away.  After dinner, I went back to Judie's house, continued to talk as long as was physically possible, then crashed.  The next morning, she gave me a tour of her home, horses and barn.  I wish I'd taken pictures of them...

I can't get over the way it felt like we'd never not been in touch. It was better than the past, actually, because we're not idiot jr high/high school girls anymore. Speaking of myself only, of course. We talked about how you would row me across the lake to her house. She remembered times I'd forgotten (who doesn't?) like going to Oceana Stables and Cheatham Annex. I think she said she went to Smithfield with me, too. Is memory loss a symptom of PTSS? Childhood was rough!
