I didn't remember that Beau died the next week, nor that he was a trade up from a cat!!!Kimmynoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4950236646725721137.post-25031066767933643212013-10-13T11:38:30.932-07:002013-10-13T11:38:30.932-07:00Yes, I'm in touch with Bran - loosely. Just changing clothes, but Michael has never recovered! I need to ask him if he remembers that. I have two other pictures from that day with you in them. In one, we're standing in front of Don's an Bran's car with Just Married in shaving cream on it and the other is in the house with a bunch of other people. We didn't have a/c in the house, summer, and I think there was a fish kill going on! Remember those? And, our cat died during the reception from eating a spoiled dead fish. Then, my toy poodle, Beauregard, which I'd gotten by trading my gold cat for the Kirkpatrick's dog, died a week later. Am I making this stuff up?! Surely the Kirks didn't give me their dog. Maybe it was some secret deal between Barbara Kirkpatrick and Mom, so Mom could get rid of the cat and get a toy poodle to name Beauregard. I know i didn't name that dog such a ridiculous name. We called him Beau.

There was a picture of a girl about my age running to her Dad. I can remember it well, but don't think I knew the girl. I'm not sure she was from VB. Maybe CA. I just read something about it the other day - her description of the event. The picture was really cool - won a Pulitzer.ImportanttoMadeleinehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04908901338754119909noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4950236646725721137.post-63453646444399102372013-10-13T09:07:08.919-07:002013-10-13T09:07:08.919-07:00Oh, and I have to say - my favorite picture has al...Oh, and I have to say - my favorite picture has always been of your Mom and Dad in the car. I also seem to remember there was one of all of you running to him, or is that just something I've made up in my mind?
Kimmynoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4950236646725721137.post-54584039131215489732013-10-13T09:05:55.062-07:002013-10-13T09:05:55.062-07:00Wow - what a lovely letter. I still have a picture of she and Donnie at their wedding - she in a short wedding dress, remember thinking that was really "cool". Are you in touch w/ her at all?Kimmy Coleslawnoreply@blogger.com
