Hi Madeleine!

I am hoping that you will remember me from when we were good friends growing up in King's Grant. I am Kim Cuppett (now Salopek). I used to live on Watergate Court (in the Baskette's old house). I just recently found you on facebook on Kim Coulsting Cox's friend list. I was so happy to find you, as I have thought about you and your awesome family throughout the years. I also sent you a FB friend request. I don't know if you remember this or not, but I moved from King's Grant to Chesopeian Colony in 1969, when I was going into 8th grade, and went to Cox instead of FC. Perhaps you may remember this, too, we both used to sometimes spend the night at each others' houses, and we often hung around Jenny Rice and Shelly Byington. I also remember Mary Cary, all of your brothers especially Michael, and also little Mary Beth. I also remember when we used to go to Skippy Walker's house, and ride down that pulley from his tree house. I also remember his jukebox in his house!

Oops, I somehow forgot to say that I really love this family picture of you all. You still really look very pretty and youthful today from the current pictures I have seen of you so far. I really love your FB profile picture, too. Perhaps you also might remember my two sisters and little brother, Pam, Laurie, and Richard aka Beaver. Beaver used to play with Wardie Byington, and he was born in 1963. My sister, Pam was born in 1958, and Laurie was born in 1961. I remember one time I went to the library with you at Windsor Oaks. I also remember you used to take horseback riding lessons from Mrs. Tshudy, I believe. My dad also bought your father's book, "When Hell Was In Session", and I read it when I was old enough to understand. I also saw the movie on NBC back in 1979. I am so happy and blessed to finally reconnect with you. I hope you and your family have an truly awesome and blessed day! Happy Easter to you all, too!
